(GARY, Ind.) A south suburban man suspected of fatally shooting a man last week in northwest suburban Round Lake Beach was arrested Wednesday in northwest Indiana, authorities said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jeremy Anderson, 36, of Chicago Heights, charging two counts of first-degree murder, according to a statement Round Lake Beach police.

Anderson shot and killed 31-year-old Anthony Robinson Jr. in a domestic dispute about 9:10 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 1400 block of Idlewild Drive, police said.

Robinson, who lived on the same block as the shooting, was taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he later died, police said.

Round Lake Beach Deputy Police Chief Michael Scott said the U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force was able to track Anderson to a home in Gary, Ind., where they located and arrested him early Wednesday.

Anderson waived extradition and was brought back to Illinois on Friday, where he was ordered held at the Lake County Jail on a $3 million bond, Scott said.
