Man shot to death in Roseland

A man was shot and killed early Saturday in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side.

Police officers responding to a call of shots fired about 12:25 a.m. found the 21-year-old Travis L. Wright in the back seat of a black car in the 9300 block of South Wentworth, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He lived in the same block.

Wright was shot in the chest and left forearm, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 1 a.m., authorities said.
