A car drove through an apartment building early Monday in northwest suburban River Grove.

About 2 a.m., a male driving a Toyota Camry drove the vehicle into the side of an apartment building in the 8600 block of Grand, a spokesman for the River Grove Fire Department said.

The driver — whose age was not immediately known — was taken to Loyola Unversity Medical Center in Maywood, the spokesman said. His condition was not immediately available.

No other injuries were reported.
