(NAPERVILLE) Bond was set at $50,000 for a west suburban man who faces child pornography charges after police searched his Naperville home Thursday.

The Naperville Police Department’s High Technology Crimes Unit executed a search warrant Thursday at George G. Chaffin’s home in the 4400 block of Esquire Circle after “a lengthy investigation,” according to a statement from police.

Chaffin, thought to be in his late 60s, is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of dissemination of child pornography, all felonies, police said. He has lived in Naperville for about 15 years.

Chaffin posted 10 percent of a $50,000 bond and was released from the Will County Jail on Friday evening, according to the Will County Sheriff’s office. His next court date wasn’t immediately known.
