Kobe Bryant went nearly a month without posting anything to his Twitter account before Tuesday.
The decision by a grand jury not to indict officer Darren Wilson for the August shooting of Michael Brown broke Bryant’s silent streak.
Bryant’s tweet had been retweeted more than 5,000 times in less than 20 minutes.
LeBron James also posted a reaction to the news late Monday night.
As a society how do we do better and stop things like this happening time after time!! I'm so sorry to these families. Violence is not the answer people. Retaliation isn't the solution as well. #PrayersUpToTheFamilies #WeHaveToDoBetter
