Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man suffering from bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder who has been missing from his West Ridge neighborhood home on the North Side since Thursday afternoon.
Michael Dunagan, 19, was last seen about noon at his home in the 2200 block of West Arthur, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.
Dunagan suffers from bipolar disorder and PTSD, and has psychotic tendencies, police said. He requires various medications, which he has not taken in almost 48 hours, and does not have a cellular phone.
Police said Dunagan has not been absent from his home for any extended periods of time. He is believed to be near the Uptown neighborhood.
Dunagan is described as a 5-foot-11, 150-pound white Hispanic man with hazel eyes, brown hair, a medium complexion and a tattoo of “Millie” on his right arm. He is possibly wearing a black jacket with an electric company logo on the left chest, and a Bulls baseball hat with a leather brim.
Anyone with information on Dunagan’s whereabouts should contact Area North detectives at (312) 744-8266.
