Thieves ran off with electronics after a crash-and-grab burglary early Tuesday at a store in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

A Dodge Caravan crashed into the front door of the store about 3:55 a.m. in the 6700 block of South Western ave, police said.

The van’s occupants ran away with electronics and other items from the store, police said.

It wasn’t immediately clear whether the robbery was connected to a series of other smash-and-grab burglaries in the Chicago area over the past several months.
