Man shot after argument in Greater Grand Crossing

A man was shot early Sunday in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

The man, 43, was outside about 4:30 a.m. in the 7400 block of South Greenwood after arguing with another male, police said. The male approached the 43-year-old and fired shots, striking him in the left calf.

He took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
