Man shot in Gage Park

A man was wounded in a shooting in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Tuesday night.

About 7:15 p.m., the 22-year-old was shot in the leg in the 3000 block of West 53rd Street, police said.

He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
