Man shot in Englewood

A 48-year-old man was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Wednesday evening.

About 5:40 p.m., the man was shot in the leg in the 6700 block of South Parnell in a possible drive-by, police said.

He was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
