A man was shot in the leg Thursday afternoon on the South Side.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 5900 block of South Vincennes about 1 p.m. and found an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg, police News Affairs Officer Thomas Sweeney said.

The man was taken to Saint Bernard Hospital in good condition, Sweeney said.
