Man found shot, killed in Ford Heights

A man was found shot to death Friday in Ford Heights.

Tracy Bankhead, 40, was found in a silver 2003 Cadillac sedan at about 8:40 p.m. in the 16200 block of Lincoln Highway in the south suburb with multiple gunshot wounds, a spokeswoman for the Cook County sheriff’s office said. Bankhead, who was in the driver’s seat, was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:56 p.m.

An autopsy found that Bankhead died from multiple gunshot wounds, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
