SHARE Police warn of violent Southwest Side robberies

Police issued a community alert Tuesday warning of a series of violent daytime robberies on the Southwest Side.

Multiple suspects walk up to victims, grab them from behind and hold them while demanding property, according to the community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened:

—in the 5200 block of South Keeler about 3:50 p.m. on Sept. 25;

—in the 5300 block of South Pulaski about 11 a.m. on Oct. 2;

—in the 5200 block of South Keeler about 3 p.m. on Oct. 9; and

—in the 5200 block of South Keeler about 6:35 p.m. on Oct. 20.

The suspects are only described as between one and four black males between 16 and 20.
