Man dies after Gary crash

(GARY, Ind.) A man died Saturday afternoon in a crash in northwest Indiana.

Nathan Tramel, 75, suffered blunt force trauma in a crash in the 3300 block of Broadway in Gary, according to a statement from the Lake County, Ind., coroner’s office.

Tramel, of the 200 block of Taft Place in Gary, was pronounced dead at Methodist Hospital Northlake Hospital in Gary at 1:09 p.m., the coroner’s office said.

Gary police could not immediately provide further details about the crash Saturday evening.
