SHARE Six recent burglaries in West Ridge, Lincoln Square

Police are warning about six recent burglaries in the West Ridge and Lincoln Square neighborhoods on the North Side.

In each burglary, the suspect or suspects enter apartments or homes by force, then take electronics, jewelry, cash and other items, according to an alert from Area North detectives.

The burglaries happened at the following locations:

—5400 block of North Artesian at 7 a.m. Nov. 13;

—5700 block of North Talman at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17;

—5700 block of North Fairfield at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 25;

—5600 block of North Talman at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 29;

—5400 block of North Virginia at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4; and

—5800 block of North Artesian at noon Tuesday.

Residents should make sure all doors and windows are locked, and pay attention to suspicious people or vehicles, police said.
