A woman robbed a Chase Bank branch Wednesday afternoon in the West Side Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The woman entered the bank in the 4400 block of West North Avenue about 12:15 p.m. and passed a note to a teller, according to Chicago Police and the FBI.

She ran away after the robbery with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The suspect is described as a black woman between 40 and 50, 5-foot to 5-foot-4 and 180 to 200 pounds, according to the FBI. She was wearing a winter hat, tan jacket and glasses.
