SHARE Man shot in South Shore walks into hospital

A man who was shot in the South Shore neighborhood walked in to a South Side hospital Tuesday night.

The man, 22, told officers he was walking in the 7100 block of South Jeffery when someone approached him from behind and started shooting, police said.

He showed up to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center at 8:05 p.m. with a graze wound to the head, police said. His condition had been stabilized as of 11:40 p.m.
