Police are warning about four recent strong-arm robberies this week in the Logan Square, Humboldt Park and Wicker Park neighborhoods.

In each case, the suspects knock people down from behind, beat them and take their belongings, police said.

The robberies happened at the following locations:

• 2000 block of West McLean at 12:30 a.m. Sunday;

• 1500 block of North Oakley at 8:15 p.m. Monday;

• 1500 block of North St. Louis at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday; and

• 2600 block of North Fairfield at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The suspects are described as black and Hispanic men between the ages of 18 and 25, about 5-foot-5 and 120 pounds wearing all black clothing, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (312) 744-8263. Residents should be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious people or vehicles.
