Man pulled from Chicago River in Streeterville identified

The body of a man pulled from the Chicago River in the Streeterville neighborhood Sunday morning has been identified.

The Chicago Police Marine Unit and 18th District officers responded to the 500 block of East Grand at 10:04 a.m. Sunday after someone reported spotting a floating body, police said.

The man has been identified as Raphael Harrison, 25, of the 2000 block of West 18th Place, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy was inconclusive.

A source said the body looked like it had been floating in the water “for some time.”
