Boy shot in Englewood

A teenage boy was shot in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday night.

The boy, 15, was shot in the back and leg about 7:20 p.m. while he was outside in the 6500 block of South Stewart, police said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.
