Man shot in Little Village

A man was shot early Saturday in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Someone walked up and yelled gang slogans at the 25-year-old man about 1:40 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Washtenaw, then opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

Police said the man is affiliated with a gang.
