A man was shot Saturday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 21-year-old was approached by multiple people and then shot in the 4400 block of West West End about 6:15 p.m., police said.

He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.
