Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot in the South Chicago neighborhood early Saturday.

About 3:20 a.m., the 33-year-old was walking with a friend in the 3100 block of East 82nd Street when two males got out of a dark-colored SUV and opened fire, police said.

The man was shot in the right thigh and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
