(WATERMAN, Ill.) Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information about a burglary that took place at a home under construction in DeKalb County.

Between Nov. 1 and 8, someone broke into a home undergoing renovations in the 300 block of North Oak Street in Waterman and stole construction tools, according to a release from Crime Stoppers.

Waterman is located south of DeKalb and west of Aurora.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward up to $1,000.

Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call DeKalb County Crime Stoppers at (815) 895-3272 or email crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
