(ELGIN) A northwest suburban man is facing a slew of drug charges after officers found cocaine while searching his Elgin home Thursday evening, according to police.

Officers served a search warrant on a home in the 200 block of Gifford Place about 6 p.m. after a months-long investigation into reports of drugs being sold there, according to a statement from Elgin police.

After officers found cocaine inside the home, Tecumseh A. Henry III was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

A judge ordered Henry held on $100,000, according to Kane County Jail records.
