Bank robbed in River Forest

(RIVER FOREST) A TCF Bank branch was robbed Sunday afternoon in west suburban River Forest.

A man robbed the TCF Bank branch at 7525 W. Lake St. in River Forest about 2:30 p.m., according to the FBI.

A weapon was not shown and no one was injured in the robbery, the FBI said.

The robber is described as a black man, between 40 and 50 years old, with brown eyest and facial hair, the FBI said. He was wearing eyeglasses, a red, flannel jacket and a gray flat hat.
