Stephen Colbert had some fun at the expense of St. Louis and its police force Monday night.

Colbert criticized the police force’s resounding condemnation of the St. Louis Rams’ “hands up, don’t shoot” demonstration before Sunday’s game.

Of course, Colbert was in character as an angry conservative.

“These protests have spread to what americans hold most sacred,” Colbert said. “Football.”

“That’s just wrong,” he added of the protests. “Why would anyone surrender to the Raiders?”
