SHARE Police report string of garage burglaries in Portage Park

Police are warning Portage Park residents of recent garage burglaries in the Northwest Side neighborhood.

In each burglary, at least one person enters garages and takes property, Area North detectives said in a community alert. The incidents have happened between Cicero to Narragansett and Irving Park to Montrose, police said.

The burglaries happened at the following locations:

-4000 block of North Major Avenue on Nov. 19

-5000 block of West Cullom, between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23

-4200 block of North Melvina on Nov. 26

-4000 block of North Moody, between Nov. 25 and Nov. 26
