Overnight closures on the Dan Ryan Expressway will extend to Tuesday morning for construction work on the West Harrison Street Bridge.

Ramps between the Dan Ryan (I-90/94) and Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) have been closed overnight throughout the weekend for beam installation on the bridge.

The work, part of the Jane Byrne Interchange Improvement Project, was scheduled to end Monday but will be extended to early morning hours on Tuesday, IDOT said in a statement.

The inbound and outbound Eisenhower ramps to the outbound Dan Ryan will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Sunday and 5 a.m. Monday, and again from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, IDOT said.

Detours will be posted.
