You never quite know when Vice President Joe Biden is going to give you one of those classic Joe Biden moments.

Luckily, there were plenty in 2014.

Here they are, ranked:

10. Tell Netanyahu we’re “still buddies.”

After the fallout from an Obama administration official calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjaming Netanyahu “chickens—,” Biden used a speech at the General Assembly of Jewish Federations of North America to deliver a message.

During his speech, Biden told Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer “better damn well report to [Netanyahu] that we’re still buddies.”

9. Biden delivers after girl asks him to prom

All Talia Maselli wanted was the perfect date — with Biden.

“Joe Biden makes me laugh,” Maselli told the Hartford Courant. “He just cracks me up.”

So, she did the obvious thing and mailed him an invite to the Newington High School prom. Biden couldn’t go, but didn’t let the invite go unnoticed.

“I am flattered, but my schedule will not permit me to be in Connecticut on Friday evening,” the vice president said in the note. “But I hope you will accept this corsage and enjoy your prom as much as I did mine.”

8. Child’s play

Biden was captured in this candid moment while talking with children in a classroom at the East Lake Family YMCA in Atlanta.

7. At the White House, he flirted with a 108-year-old veteran.

6. Sad Joe Biden looking out a window became a thing.

5. He once wished he had a Republican kid

During a speech to the National Urban League, Biden worried about his future, when his time comes to be put into a home.

“I should have had one Republican kid who’d grow up to make money,” he said. “You know, so when they put me in a home, I get a window with a view.”

But really, it looks like he already has one (see above).

3. Little girl — not Leslie Knope — is Biden’s biggest fan

She’s not from Pawnee, but we might as well call 3-year-old Avery Bral from Iowa Leslie Knope Jr., thanks to her obsession with Biden.

After being obsessed with Biden, her grandmother, Becky Burke, posted a message on Biden’s website eight months ago telling him about his little fan.

And he felt compelled to pick up the phone.

He said ‘This is Joe Biden’ and I said, ‘Who the hell is this?’ And he said, ‘This is Joe Biden,’ and I said, ‘I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry I said that to you, Burke said.

2. ‘Isn’t a b—-? This Vice President thing.’

Biden said it in October during an appearance at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics.

1. The State of the Union address. Obviously.
