Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell announced Tuesday morning that 6.4 million people have enrolled in insurance plans for 2015 under Obamacare.

During a news conference, Burwell said there were approximately 1.9 million new customers, with 4.5 million coming from re-enrollments.

With the HealthCare.gov website running much better this year, the administration has set a goal of 9.1 million customers signed up and paying premiums in 2015.

Open enrollment ends Feb. 15.
