A man was found fatally shot in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday night.

At 8:55 p.m., Trevon Williams, 20, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the chest inside a building in the 7800 block of South Lowe, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Williams, of the 6400 block of South Lowe, was pronounced dead at 9:28 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

His death was ruled a homicide.
