Carmel’s guard play keeps Bartlett at bay

Bartlett’s height and arm length can give many teams fits, but Carmel guards Shareif Bailey and Brian Julien refused to let it be a factor in Tuesday’s Hinkle Holiday Classic at Jacobs.

Bailey dished out 10 assists and scored 15 points and Julien drove through the Hawks’ defense for 22 points to lead Carmel to an 85-79 victory.
