Police are warning residents of the Kenwood neighborhood of a recent pair of armed robberies on the South Side

In both incidents, robbers walk up to people, pull out a handgun and demand property, according to a community alert from Chicago Police.

The robberies happened about 1:05 a.m. Dec. 17 in the 1000 block of East 46th Street and about 9:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in the 4600 block of South Greenwood, police said.

One suspect is thought to be between 18 and 21 years old, 5-foot-11 and 155 pounds with a light complexion, police said. The second suspect is between 19 and 20 years old, 5-foot-5, between 130 and 140 pounds with a light complexion.

Another suspect is thought to be 5-foot-9, 150 pounds with a dark complexion and an afro, police said. The fourth robber is thought to be between 19 and 25 years old.
