4th teen charged with helping move slain flight attendant’s body found in Gary

Authorities in northwestern Indiana have charged a fourth teenager with helping move and dispose of the body of a United Airlines flight attendant slain last summer.

The 17-year-old Merrillville boy faces a felony charge of assisting a criminal stemming from the death of 54-year-old DeCarol Deloney-Cain, who was stabbed to death in her Crown Point home.

Her decomposing body was found July 7 in the trunk of her abandoned car in Gary.

Deloney-Cain’s 17-year-old daughter and the teen’s boyfriend are charged with murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury. An 18-year-old Merrillville boy also charged in the case faces a charge of assisting a criminal.

The four teens allegedly drove to Gary and left Deloney-Cain’s body in the trunk of her car.
