Oswego’s Zach West was lighting up the gym Saturday, sharpshooting his way to 14 of his game-high 27 points in the first half against Lyons.

That’s when Lyons’ Jaquan Phipps pulled up his socks, hiked up his shorts, and got after West.

Phipps’ defense helped key Lyons’ 68-58 win over Oswego in the second round of York’s 41st annual Jack Tosh Holiday Classic.
