A man was shot during a robbery in the Gage Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side Saturday morning.

The 40-year-old was approached by two masked gunmen who announced a robbery about 5:15 a.m. in the 5900 block of South California, police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic said.

One of the alleged robbers shot him in the hand and a friend took him to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
