A man was shot in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side early Sunday.

The 23-year-old was on a sidewalk about 2 a.m. in the 11200 block of South Halsted when a gunman walked up and opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.

A bullet grazed the man’s right shoulder and his condition was stabilized at Roseland Community Hospital, Alfaro said.
