A 31-year-old man is in serious condition early Monday after his car crashed into four parked vehicles in the Roseland neighborhood.

The man was driving south about 2:45 a.m. when his vehicle crashed into a parked car, which then crashed into several other cars in the 9900 block of South State, police said, citing preliminary information.

The driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.

It was unclear Monday morning if drugs, alcohol played a factor or if any citations would be issued.
