A boy was taken to the hospital Sunday night after he got into a fight with as many as four other people outside Navy Pier.

The boy, whose exact age was not immediately known, got into the altercation with three to four other males about 10:15 p.m. outside Navy Pier in the 600 block of East Grand Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Janel Sedevic.

He suffered “minor scrapes and bruises” and was taken in good condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Sedevic said.

The Pier, which is hosting Winter Wonderfest, an annual holiday festival, was closed at the time.

No property was damaged and no gunshots were fired, police said.
