The Shedd Aquarium has released a new video of Pup 681, and it’s obvious she is quickly picking up on the whole “how to be a sea otter” thing.

When the orphaned pup came to the Shedd at the end of October, her situation was described as “urgent.”

“Our animal care team is teaching the pup how to be an otter,” Shedd Vice President of Animal Collections Tim Binder said at the time.

She’s clearly a fast learner.

And as lovely a designation as Pup 681 is, the Shedd announced a contest earlier this week to help her find a more fitting name. Voters can choose between five names selected by Shedd staff: Cali, Ellie, Luna, Poppy or Ana/Anya.

Anyway, let’s take a look at Pup 681′s latest shenanigans –

Look how fearless she is!
