Bears’ Alshon Jeffery, Chris Conte, Jeremiah Ratliff ruled questionable

When the Bears held wide receiver Alshon Jeffery out of practice Tuesday with a hamstring injury, coach Marc Trestman said the team was erring on the side of precaution.

Wednesday, though, he was ruled questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Cowboys.

So too was safety Chris Conte, who returned to practice, albeit on a limited basis, for the first time Tuesday since suffering an eye injury in Detroit.

Jeremiah Ratliff, who said Tuesday he thought he would play against his former team, was the third Bears starter ruled questionable. The defensive tackle has a knee injury that kept him out against the Lions.

Kicker Robbie Gould (quad) and defensive end Cornelius Washington (chest) were called doubtful, while linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring) was ruled out.

Tight end Martellus Bennett (foot), cornerback Tim Jennings (groin), guard Kyle Long (calf) and defensive end Trevor Scott (knee) were called probably.
