SHARE Joliet Central holds off Lincoln-Way East

In a game neither side likely will include in its scrapbook, Joliet Central prevailed over Lincoln-Way East 42-39 in a SouthWest Suburban Conference Blue contest Wednesday.

The Steelmen won their fifth straight to open the season, but it was a far cry from the efforts they turned in when they won the WJOL Thanksgiving Tournament.
