(MONTGOMERY) A tip to the Kendall County sheriff’s office led to the arrest of a west suburban man who was charged Tuesday with several child pornography-related counts.

The Kendall County sheriff’s office received information on Dec. 16 that 21-year-old Robert E. Crysel Jr. may have child pornography, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Crysel, of the 0-100 block of Sonora Drive in Montgomery, was charged Tuesday with 15 felony counts of possession of child pornography after detectives conducted an investigation, the sheriff’s office said.

His bond court hearing date was not immediately known.
