White Sox holiday sale includes Comiskey seats, field dirt

Ever wanted to own a spice rack full of dirt from U.S. Cellular Field?

Now you can!

Chicago White Sox Charities are hosting the annual “Holiday Blowout Sale” in the Magellan Scout Seats Lounge at U.S. Cellular Field from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Among the items being auctioned are U.S. Cellular Field dirt from Paul Konerko’s last game, Old Comiskey Park seats and bricks, chairs and lockers from the White Sox clubhouse and literature and programs from the 2005 playoff race.

Proceeds from the sale benefit Chicago White Sox Charities. A purchase of $30 or more gets you a free White Sox beanie.
