A Metra Rock Island District train was delayed in the South Loop because of a gas leak Thursday afternoon.

Inbound train No. 512 was temporarily stopped at 16th Street for the reported leak, according to Metra’s website.

The train was then reversed to 35th Street to let passengers disembark, according to Metra.
