Shea McClellin: The Bears linebacker had an active night, totaling five tackles in the first half and one for loss.
Pass protection: Quarterback Jay Cutler was not sacked through the first three quarters.
Alshon Jeffery: He was targeted once in the first half. But after Brandon Marshall left the game with an injury to his ribs, Jeffery was thrown to more frequently. Jeffery had a 27-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter.
Promptness: Many fans who ultimately made it to the game were not in the stadium in time for kickoff.
Special teams: The unit allowed Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter to tip a punt by Pat O’Donnell that went only 21 yards. That was a precursor to the Cowboys’ first touchdown drive.
Run defense: The Bears were poor in filling gaps, which allowed the Cowboys to break big runs. The best example came on Joseph Randle’s 17-yard scoring run.
