Residents will have a chance to claim property that was stolen in North Side burglaries earlier this year on Friday.

Area North detectives will display stolen merchandise thought to have been stolen in burglaries that occurred between March and November and were committed in the 19th and 20th police districts, Chicago Police said in a statement.

Anyone wishing to claim property must be able to provide proof of purchase or ownership, police said.

The public can visit the police department’s Area North office, 2452 W. Belmont, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday.
