Teen shot in South Shore

A teenage boy was shot in the South Shore neighborhood Friday night.

The boy, 17, was crossing the street in the 7400 block of South Kimbark at 6:25 p.m. when he heard gunshots and felt pain, police said. He was shot in the buttocks.

The boy was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in good condition.
