A man was in critical condition Friday night after a shooting in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Officers responded to the 300 block of South Kildare at 7:40 p.m. for a call of a person shot, police said. They found a 25-year-old man inside a vehicle who had been shot in the neck, hand and cheek, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
